Guest guest
Our verse today - 154. In a pure and beautiful place always one should perform the vows of purifying austerities. Even without understanding or in silence one can offer this recitation. Comments - This verse seems to say that the Guru Gita should be receited with a pure and concentrated mind (one-pointed devotion). Guest guest
I agree with you . The beautiful place is the pure mind. But what mean without understanding? Is necessary only devotion to the Guru? Is possible devotion without understanding? This understanding is subjeticve ?Kali Kali <kaliananda_saraswati > escreveu: Dear All, Our verse today - 154. Guest guest
Thanks for your response. I think that statement means that though we may not at present, understand fully everything that is being presented in the Guru Gita, yet we should recite the text with a purity of mind and devotion will also bear fruit.
