Dear Beautiful Family,

 

Jai MAA! I heard that thurs, fri, sat are the three day festival in

Kamakhya Assam. As you might know, our sweetest Shree Maa is loved

by many as the Mother of Kamakhya. On these three days many sadhus

and saints come to the Temple and pray to Divine Mother for Her

grace. It is a GREAT TIME for us to do sadhana too --- To pray to

Mother Durga.

 

I know thursday is over and we may be at work today (friday) -- but

we still have saturday.

 

Do you want to make a little sankalpa to pray to Mother Durga --

Here are some possibilities:

 

(a) Chant Durga Mantra Om Hrim Shrim Dum Durgayai Namaha (1 mala, 9

malas, ...108 malas)

 

(b) Chant 32 Names of Durga (11 times, 27 times, 108 times)

you would like!!!

 

I am hoping, by Mother's Grace, to say 32 Names 108 times and 10

malas of Japa of Durga Mantra and 1 time 108 names of Durga. Please

join and do as much as you can.

 

Let us together pray to Divine Mother, "Oh MAA, thousands of Holy

men and women have gathered to see You at Kamakhya -- we too are

your little children - sitting everywhere on earth calling out to

you. Please come and visit our hearts. We will make it beautiful for

you with japa of Your Divine Names. Bless us that with these names

we can fill our hearts and hearts of all Your creation with love,

peace and compassion."
