Guest guest
Kalia, This is a very practical verse; also a very yogic verse. It reminds us that the pull of desire and attachment is very subtle and very strong, and as we move through the world, it coats the mind like dirt coats the body. To remove that spiritual dirt we bathe in the recitation of the Guru Gita, remembering the tattwas: "I am not the body" "I am not the senses" "I am not the objects of perception" "I am not the mind" "I am not the pure intellect" "I am not the stuff of thought" "I am not the ego" "I am not Nature" "I am Purusha, that complete and perfect conscious being" "I am That" Jai Maa!
