Guest guest
Namaste to all, Thanks to ecjensen_us for your post on the moon. Just wanted to make a small correction about Guru Purnima. According to our Panchang Guru Purnima will be on Wednesday July 20. Sometimes the western calendars put the full moon on a different day than the panchang. Since today is the new moon tomorrow will start the month of aashadh shukla which is the first day of the summer navaratri. It is a good time to take a sankalpa if you don't have one or increase your sankalpa if you already have one. Try to dedicate a little extra time to Divine Mother during this time with puja, chanting, mantra japa, meditation, or singing....... The navaratri will start from July 6-July 15. God bless you all with peace. Guest guest
Namaskar, I'm a bit confused. My Indian calander has today as being Amavasya which would make tomarrow a new moon. Perhaps there is a time difference in this calander, which is from india, can someone clarify this for me. Thanks --- Kala Chandra <kalachandra2003 wrote: > Thanks dear Parvati. Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA it seems it should be something that involves the Guru with Guru Purnima coming. i would leave if to others to reccommend a sadhana. but one part of the Guru Gita that keeps sticking in my head is "the Guru is the cause of all circumstance." this is so intriguing to me. as a result i have been playing a little game with myself. i have been looking for just one example a day of the Guru being the cause of circumstance. it is been surprisingly easy and i often find more than one. just an idea?
