Blessed are the sources and originations of the Guru, however this wisdom comes to you. This life is what? Constant motion and streams, patterns, ups and downs. The Guru is the eye seeing through this cloud. You are seeing the Guru. You wish for protection, to support the Guru to provide protection, to help you see, to see more, to see steadily, and to see clearly. This relationship benefits all, even the Earth herself. I believe we must always be grateful to our parents and family, friends for they are the ones who create circumstances that make us see where exactly we want to be. Not all of us would have had the blessing of a spiritual upbringing but like you said Beloved Mother Sarada Devi said it was necessary for devotees to undergo suffering. It is as if due to our sincere search for truth Guru, has handpicked a beautiful universal garland of flowers from the various gardens of the world, and planted sincere love in our hearts to perform various seva. The Supreme Divinity manifests in the form of Satguru to reveal the mystery of Her own Divinity and to give to Her devotees the opportunity of performing selfless service at Her Beloved Lotus Feet. Through devotion to Guru, blessings beyond our comprehension are gained (krypa) not only for this life but in lives past (lineage) and lives to come.
