Guest guest
Kalia, The attitude of the Guru is always Divine. That may go without saying, but there is another verse mentioning attitude that comes to my mind, verse 40, "One who has an opinion does not understand. One who has no opinion has right understanding. Deeply intuit the absence of many or various attitudes. Therefore, we bow down to the respected Guru." I think this verse amplifies the present verse very nicely. It says, first, that the Guru has only One attitude; it is not in the realm of opinion, which is only of the mind and the interactions of manifold existence; it is the subject of deep intuition, which is beyond mind. In the normal course of things, we all have our beliefs and opinions and we tend to organize our perceptions and act in accordance with them. It is kind of like a closed loop that, in effect, prevents the entrance of new information, especially divine inspiration. It's a necessary evil for most of us, so we can remain sane. But once one achieves a certain level of purity this system begins to open to the flow of Divine intuition. Like everything else on the path of light, for the children of the guru, the gurudeva is the source of divine inspiration, the portal through which divinity flows. As our beliefs and attitudes and opinions come closer and closer to the gurudeva's One attitude, which is Inspired Divinity, we receive that consciousness to a greater and greater degree. Jai Gurudeva! In the physical world, if we want to intensify our connection to Divinity we may go to a special place, imbued with holiness. The effect of being in such places is both inspiring and purifying, but next to that stream of consciousness ever flowing from the heart of the gurudeva, their effect is weak. How wonderful it is to travel to a holy place, but how much greater is the journey to the mind of the gurudeva. Visit the gurudeva. Deeply intuit her One attitude of Divinity, and be Inspired yourself. Jai Gurudeva! Chris , Kali Kali <kaliananda_saraswati> wrote: > > 174.
