Guest guest Posted July 21, 2005 Report Share Posted July 21, 2005 OM NAMAH SIVAYA this morning i was invited to a puja for Guru Purnima, where we washed the feet of the Guru. afterwards Swamiji gave a short talk. the part that really has stuck in my head is he said that in this life birth and death is something we all go through. birth has already happened so we don't need to worry about it. but death is coming. and it's the living in the middle that counts. how you live is how you die. you can either live your life like a king or live your life poor. if you live your life like a king you will die like a king. if you live your life poor you will die poor. living like a king means immortality. living poor means mortally. the choice is ours to make. all the avatars, Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Muhammad, etc. lived life like kings. their bodies died but they are really still living today.
