Guest guest
aum Namha sivaya, what a wonder full observation... just one question should the Yoni of the lingham be pointing towards you or away from you, as you perform the puja's Pranams for your help and guidance. Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA the Yoni was pointing directly towards us. well, my wife actually, i was to the side. i suppose that it pointing directly towards you may have something to do with the energy of Siva flowing towards you. it is interesting because at one point Swamiji was about to pour water over the lingam while repeating some mantras and he told us that while he was doing this if we concentrated on the point where the water was hitting the lingam with one pointedness we would be able to see Siva dancing. but that if we blinked or any thoughts came into our mind it would not work. and my wife actually saw Siva. i did not. so either she has better concentration than i do or it was because she was sitting directly in front of the lingam. it's probably a little of both. but i prefer to think it was due to how we were seated. that will be my side of the story anyway. its ok though because given a choice i would rather she see Him now anyway. because even if i didn't see Him i know He's here/there.
