Hope you're feeling a little better now...Your eyes must be very pure to see and value all Mother's riches in this way. I hope you'll be able to use that fireplace for a homa, Dear henny ~ thank you so much. These welcome backs are like sparkling, tingling hugs; they seem to have a bit of magic attached to them. I don't know how pure my eyes are, but since I'm an artist, I notice everything. And being an artist has also helped me see the Divine in everything also ~ each rock, each tree, each flower, the cactus, the horses that pasture nearby (I go visit them whenever I can, talk to them, pet them; they listen, eat the grass I give them, and it is wonderful). It is good to see you again too, with your bright, inquisitive spirit. The fire pit is so perfect for a homa ~ there is even a flat rock over the top of one end that could serve as an altar. I will only have to be careful of the wind because there is a lot of dried grass, and a fire could spread very quickly. Since I moved to the West, and then to the Southwest, I became so aware of the terrible range fires that could burn away the whole side of a hill or a big swath of mountain growth. It always made me so sad, especially since some of the fires were deliberately set and others were set by carelessness, so Swami's admonition to be attentive and efficient is very important. Perhaps I will get one of those southwestern outdoor clay fireplaces to put in the fire pit. Anyhow, it is so nice to see everyone again.
