Guest guest Posted August 5, 2005 Report Share Posted August 5, 2005 it is a portable temple. when we sit we are saying, here it is, we are focussing on god now, we are not multi-tasking, god and my spiritual practice my good thoughts are most important to me right now. notice the triangular shape, like a temple, or even a tent. hey! here is a poem on that. my body is a tent i am at the river there is no satsanga for 1,000 miles there is no guru for 3,000 miles american sadhu my body are the tent flaps open to the river spine is the pole om flow river flow river stay steady looking out looking past my tent om shiva om shiva jai maa.
