Dear Nanda ~ from my reading of the Chandi, I thought the word,

"dhynam," meant meditation. However, I notice your spelling of the

word has an extra, in between the y and the n. So are you referring

to the same word? If dhynam is meditation, then my thought would be,

that, as it is also a kind of introduction, it is a special

meditation on the diety involved.
