Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaaya! Today is the first Monday of Sravan a great day to remember Lord Shiva. Great idea Nanda to recite the Rudri and or beginner Shiva puja. Here at the Mandir Shree Maa has suggested we recite the Rudri and perform a simple Shiva puja. Anyone who will be doing Shiva puja please add the mantras we discussed from Day 1 and 2. Another suggestion would be to read the English only from the Shiva puja as Vishveswara did in the beginning. May Lord Shivaya bless whatever sankalpa you take. "tanme manah sivasamkalpamastu" "May my mind be filled with the firm determination of Shiva, the Consciousness of Infinite Goodness." Guest guest
Dear Parvati, today I recited (or tried to) the Rudri for the first time and it was not easy because of the difficult metres etc. But what I wanted to ask you is this: the Rudri text appears to be incorporated in a puja, and instead of the offerings of items, the text is offered in recitation between the two times japa. So, is it necessary to do a full beginner's Shiva puja again after reciting the Rudri book, or should I include offering the items from the Shiva puja book in my Rudri recitation? thank you for your consideration, with love, Henny , "parv108" <parv108> wrote: > Om Namah Shivaaya! > > Today is the first Monday of Sravan a great day to remember Lord > Shiva. Guest guest
I am following the class and learning from the posts presented but do not have any questions as yet. I am grateful to learn how to add to the puja as it was mostly a fumble when I tried on my own. I have taken the sankalpa to recite for each Monday during sravan. Thank you for being our guide. May our minds be filled with the firm determination of Shiva, the Consciousness of Infinite Goodness.
