Dear Friends,

My humble Pranams to you all.

I had been chanting the Chandi everyday for the past few weeks with Maa's

Blessings, when Maa suggested that I delve into the meaning of Swamiji's Chandi

and discuss my immature understanding with Him.

When I did He was happy with my understanding(though I know I have a long ways

to go) and wanted me to share it with you. Below is what I wrote to Him

=============================================

By Maa's and Swamiji's Grace this what I have understood,

The Chandi with its three episodes tells the story of liberation

happening simultaneously or from different angles through the Grace

of She who is everything...

In the first episode Aim the bija for Knowledge or Creative

Understanding is synopsis of the episode

Here when too much(desires) and too little(fears) try to overwhelm

us, then Brahma, Pure Mind prays to Her . She helps us by awakening Vishnu

the Eternal Seer or the Witness who fights these two demons by being a Witness

through Her grace, till it comes to a climax due to Mahamaya deluding the

demons to ask the Witness (like the devil tempting Christ ) to ask them for a

boon thinking themselves all powerful, when the Witness asks that he wants

their destruction, the demons being the product of the mind and seeing only

mind formation everywhere, answer that he can kill them where there is no mind

and thats what the Witness exactly does.

In the Second episode Hrim the bija for Pure Energy or Energy of

Action or Guru's(Siva) Energy is the synopsis of the episode

Here the episode is shown from the angle of the great ego or 'I am

the body and mind' consciousness

To defeat this great demon the Pure Mind asks the help of the Guru

(Siva) and other Higher Beings, these Beings help us by giving us

their Energy (Shaktiphat, Grace, Initiation etc). These Energies rise

up in us in the form of Mother Kundalini and destroys the great ego

or 'I am the body and mind' consciousness.

In the Third episode Klim the Bija for destruction is the synopsis of

the Episode

Here Shumbha self conceit, Nishumbha self pity, dhurma lochana sinful

eyes, rakta bija numerous desires canda and munda anger and passion

etc are demons born out of the sense the 'I Know Everything,

Everything is Mine or Everything is there to serve me' this is

depicted by them taking all of the fire offering for themselves,

wanting the Goddess for themselves as an adornment for there egos

So when the Pure Mind asks the help of the Goddess she uses the

desires and pride of the demons to destroys them.

So when we chant the Chandi with devotion, She helps us by giving or

awakening knowledge in us, awakening our kundalini or initiating a

process of evolutionary change in us, destroying bad influences and

lower passions in us and in the end leading us to Her or Liberation...

==========================================

Once again my friends this understanding is through Her Grace, and the best way

to know Her is to read or Chant Her even if it is for a few minutes...

If you have any question please don't hesitate to ask . I will try my best to

explain or atleast share my love for Her but I assure you you can easily find it

by meditating on Her yourself...
