first'mala mantra', do we address the mala as 'mahamaya'?

How is the rosary

connected with 'mahamaya'? Has it something to do with the

mala representing the totality of possible creation? Or with the

audible mantra being a particular manifestation of the Word or

'root vibration'? Or with the mala being a circle, representing

infinite

possibility?

 

Here is what Swamiji has to say:

All of the above are possible answers. The mala is also the

recipient of our attention, and in that way, the measurement of

our consciousness. All of our attention becomes focused on

the mala, the mantra, and the deity, and the three unite in the

form of Mahamaya.
