Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA i think its possible Nanda. maybe even more than "people" can be the wise Holy person. for example, we have a Siamese cat, Yin. she is a Guru to me. she has taught me the value of persistance. when she wants something she will cry and cry until we give her what she wants. she will never quit until she gets what she wants, and always sooner or later we break down and give it to her. out of love and compassion for her. so i figure she really taught me several lessons. one patience, because sometimes i'd like to boot her across the room to shut her up(but of course i don't). another compassion, because out of love for her we always seem to give in to her(she is so spoiled). and the third lesson is the most important one. to keep crying and crying to Mother and not give up hope. Jai Maa, Eric! i am smiling ear to ear, as i hear you describe your little "Yin", she sounds so much like one of our "furry four legged children", smile..."Thunder", who is black with a lot of Siamese in him. Thank- you so much for sharing this, it has been a great teaching for me. He also cries and cries and is relentless util we can figure out just what he wants....sometimes after the usual questions "food?" meowwwwww! okay, not food. "Catnip, maybe?" meowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! no? okay, hmmmm. i know! "Your favorite toy, yeah, i bet that's it!" MEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! At this point, i pick him up and find out what he really wants is to cuddle!!!! purrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Whaaaaaaa!!!! Maa, take me into your lap of infinite light and cuddle me with your Divine Energy; feed me with your sweet amrita! Your sister dissolving in Maa's Love, muktimaa > > > , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> > wrote: > > Dear All, > > Another zen story from the web.
