Guest guest
Day 10 Q/A Feedback Dear All, Thanks to Henny, Kumari, Kalachandra, Kalia for your questions and insights and thanks to all the silent witnesses(other club members) whoever and wherever you are for sharing in this online satsangha. Remember in the Ramayana that Lord Rama outlined the 9 steps of devotion and he said that the first step is satsanga. Shree Maa always encourages us to churn this knowledge. She says the more we churn the more cream will rise. This satsangha defintely helps us to do just that. Kalia said: What is the best point of the puja to recite the Sivastakam? Generally we recite the Sivastakam after we have finished puja and arati. It is nice to sing some songs after performing the arati. But you will decide for yourself when to recite this. Kalachandra said: Today I performed Shiva Puja and I recited Rudri too. It is possible because this family is really wonderfull. Thanks to all. I bow to all you." A: May Lord Shiva continue to bless you and this satsang family with firm determination and pure devotion. Kuamri said: He also considered ganges water greatly and literally purifying. For example, when someone put a newspaper down in His room, after the newspaper was removed, He would ask His attendant to sprinkle ganges water in the spot where the newspaper was. If some impure person came to see Him, He would also sprinkle ganges water in the spot where that person sat. A: I have also seen Shree Maa use Ganges water in a similar fashion. Kumari added: >From examples like these in the lives of great souls, I have understood that purity can be a matter of convention or etiquette or, as in the life of Ramakrishna, it is often a matter of direct perception. My belief is that it is appropriate for us to follow the conventions of ritual purity as taught by our teachers, with the faith that they will lead us to the state that Ramakrishna attained. A: Shree Maa teaches by example and she continues to live by these rules of purity. For Maa it is just a natural extension of her pure love and devotion. May we all attain to that state. Jai Maa!
