I was browsing through Swamiji's translation of the Bhagavad Gita

today and here is one of the ways He translates Krishna's name ... he

has given a few others too.

Swamiji says :"The meaning of the word "Krishi" is the Cultivator of

the Field of the Ideals of Perfection. The meaning of the syllable

"naa" is the flowering of each and every flower.

Krishna is responsible as the Gardener of Creation, and grants the fruit of all actions.."
