Guest guest
Daily Reflection August 30 – A Story from SwamijiDuring those first months in America Shree Maa said very little in English. I was her translator, and most frequently she spoke to me in our own personal mixture of languages which I would strive to interpret into English. One day she stood in front of an altar of Goddess Kali and in extremely clear English she said to the Goddess, “All right, are you going to speak or not?” We were all amazed to hear her utterance and even more impressed when she turned around and began to speak English so sweetly and clearly that there was no further use of a translator.
