Suggestions needed for environmental friendly cleaners for copper/silver

Hi all,

 

Was wondering if people can suggest environmental friendly cleaning

tips for those of us that use copper/silver utensils for worship. I

use a copper container for water and silver container for milk/5

nectars bath.

 

Copper/silver tarnishes easily, and while the commercial cleaners do a

good job, I am a little leery about using them since I drink the

water/milk offered to the deity as prasad , and dont want to intake a

whole load of chemicals .

 

Any suggestions for cleaning silver/copper welcomed.
