Katrina has come and gone ... and has left a lot destruction in her

wake. Sharing a Q&A we had with Swamiji after the tsunami

Question from Chris:

How are we to understand such things as this tsunami, which create

such suffering?

 

Swamiji's response:

>From time to time Bhu Devi, Goddess of the Earth, becomes tired from

bearing the burden of conflict and disharmony among mankind. She

shudders in dread of carrying the weight of human discontent. With

that comes destruction and an opportunity to work together to

rebuild in greater harmony.
