Guest guest
Dear Family, Namaste! I wish to share some teachings that Maa and Swamiji gave us on japa: There are five places that are most conducive to attaining mantra siddhi. They are the bank of a river, foot of mountain, under a tree, in a temple, and at the feet of a Guru. Shree Maa says it is good to do japa and/or meditation just before going to bed. I told Swamiji that I find it painful to get up in the morning. He said as soon as you hear the alarm, sit up and do one mala of japa. with love and prayers, srini
Guest guest
Namaste Srini Ji, Thanks for the post. I assume that the bank of a river also applies to the beach at the ocean, or cliff directly overlooking it. You find it painful to get up because you tirelessly serve your Gurus. I have seen it first hand! You barely sleep, so of course it is difficult. But such is the life of a sadhak. Eventually, with determined effort, we can overcome these obstacles. Jai Maa!
