Guest guest
Here are a few ideas. Don't know if they are applicable to you or not since I do not know you. Please disregard whatever doesn't apply. Control of speech. Not harming anyone or anything in any way or form. Being completely Truthful to oneself and everyone else. Increasing Bhakti, Jnana and Seva. Increasing outlook on life. Smiling more. Laughing more. Being content more. Being equanimous more. Surrendering more. Being more humble. Chanting more. Studying self more. Being more thankful. Praying more. Forgiving more. Opening your heart more. Loving more. I know there are many more. Just a few that popped into my head. Guest guest
Srini, Since you seem to be thinking in those lines, consider the ashtanga- yoga structure of Patanjali. It could serve as a fairly broad structure for whatever you want to do. In case you don't know, ashtanga means "eight-limbed". Hence this yoga has 8 aspects, beginnning from the gross to the subtle 1. Yama (Do's; 'purity' and 'regularity' would be part of this) 2. Niyama (Dont's) 3. Asan 4. Pranayam 5. Pratyahara (abtraction - "knowing the meaning" is one way of expressing this aspect) 6. Dharana - concentration on a physical object like candle light etc. 7. Dhyana - meditation. 8. Samadhi - realization. For more details and guidance in going through the process, you will need to contact a qualified guru. Jai Ma! , "Mahamuni" <mahamuni@c...> wrote: > Here are a few ideas. Guest guest
Namaste Srini, Thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us with your continued Chandi sadhana. Here is one aspect that I consider important :- Sharing in whatever way we can with the Guru's permission of course. In Swamiji's words, we have to give it away to make it grow. If in some way we can share the inspiration - chant with others , chant in another's home for their well-being (as you were planning to do once), help in another's pronunciation technique ... in general be of help in another's sadhana.
