A personal story:

 

In Spring of 1995, I was looking for a job. The job search started in

January. By March, while all my peers had obtained jobs, things were

not going well for me. I would go for interviews but could not

convert them into offers.

 

In the first week April, I was thumbing through a book of slokas on

Lord Ganesha and I came across the Ganesh Kavacham. At the end of the

Kavacham it said that if you chanted the Kavacham seven times a day

for seven weeks you will obtain what you desire.

 

And so I started. I finished the sankalpa around the end of May.

Within a few days, I got a couple of offers.
