Seven recitations of Ganesh Atharvarshirsham completed

Dear Nanda,

Even if I have not formally participated in the sankalpa, I completed

7 recitations of Ganeshaatharvarsham for Katrina victims.

My collegue at work (she watched Oprah Winfrey) told me of some horror

stories of what happened in the superdome with gang members going on

the rampage,

especially with children.

I was deeply disturbed by that. When I tried to recite Ganesh

Atharvarshirsham specifically for that, I felt that the evil, the

darkenss was so huge that I

did not have enough energy. However it was easier to pray for the victims as a whole.

I am not sure if it was just my feeling or there was some rationale behind it.

I wonder what the group members feel about that.
