Guest guest
Dear All, Thanks for responding to the pop quiz. Very impressive Henny and Kalia. Shiva gives you A+. It is also very inspiring to see different altars being posted. The following two questions were recently asked: Shivani Garla wants to know : Q: When one starts apooja a Sankalpa should be done stating the place time year ,star . etc. For aperson living in Toledo,OHio how the place can be mentioned..As far as I know N.america is called as krounchya dweepa..is it right? if not then which Dweepa? which varsha? which khanda? Inplace krishna naditeere....Maumee nadi teere but how about the indication of directions with respect to Meru? Swamiji says: We simplified the sankalpa by eliminating the Sanskrit geographical terms for places outside the scope of the original grammar. Om adya Jambhu dwipa, America Deshe, Ohio Pradeshe, Toledo Nagare, Name of your temple ...etc. Henny asked: When we offer the three flowers, we mention the twelve aspects of the realm of the sun, the sixteen of the moon, and the ten of the realm of fire. I was just wondering; is there any relation with the heart, throat and solar plexus chakras? A: Yes. The sun relates to the aagnyaa chakra, the moon relates the anahata chakra and the fire relates to the manipura chakra.
