Guest guest
“Swamiji had a few suggestions for the Prayer Club,” wrote Nanda in post #5631, July 19, 2004. “Each week, those of us interested in participating in the sankalpa for that week will please write…offline …and send … your name and the people that you would like to add to the list.Swamiji says that it is only fair that those who want to add people in the "to be prayed for" list also participate in the prayer and pray for everyone in the list. He says that this Prayer Club is a good way to pray for general welfare for all, and not just for the health. So he asks that we get more people involved - ask your families and friends to participate too. Also, since we will be recreating the sankalpa EVERY week, people can opt in or out of any week that will not work for them. And since we are recreating a fresh sankalpa each week, it will ensure that only those people that are sincere about participating for that week will have their names in.” Sometimes it is easy to forget why we are doing what we are doing, and people new to Prayer Club might not have ever known why we do what we do. Therefore, I thought it would be beneficial to say that most of what we do in Prayer Club is done according to Shree Maa and Swamiji suggestions.AND NOW...A Big Early Bird Thank You to Eric, Muktimaa, Morningson, Indu, Manoj, Henny, Stacye, Grace, and rudran narayan steven. To participate in Prayer Club this Saturday, please email _prayer_club .Jai Maa! Jai Shiva! Jai Swamiji! ******************************************************
