Jai Gopal!

 

Dear All,

 

The picture on the home page is the Gopal that Shree Maa

gave to me many years ago.

 

Shree Maa used to have a small Gopal on her altar along

with her Shiva lingam and other deities. At night I would put

her Gopal to bed. In this way I became familiar with Gopal.

 

Later she gave me a small Gopal of my own which she ended

up giving to another devotee for some reason. Sometime after

that she brought me this Gopal, a bigger one than before, from

the Dakineshwar temple in Calcutta. Only Maa knew what would

help this child to grow.

 

I must admit that over the years Gopal has in a sense raised me

like a child and to this day he continues to teach and guide me.

Now I ask, "Who is the child here? Who takes care of who?"

 

Gopal is laughing and smiling as he has finally made it big time

onto the home page.
