Guest guest
Hi, devotess. Wanted to share with you I have received the DVD of Swamiji preparing the Yantra and Homa fire. From shreemaa.org. I watched half so far. I was able to see Swamiji in action, physical action. Such a workmanlike attitude. with the geometry of using a simple piece of wood, he shows building a complex form, explaining the representation as he proceeds. My wife, who is in general kind of wary of Gurus, was very enchanted by his sincerity and enthusiasm. As am i. This is a video of an actual event, so we also see Shree Maa quietly sitting, along with a small group of devotees. It must have been cold that day in Northern California, there are lots of warm looking hats! steve

Pour out your heart to Him. Prayer is nothing but emptying the mind, ridding oneself of the vasanas. Prayer is nothing but accepting His supremacy and remembering your own nothingness~I am nothing~I am nobody~You are everything. Prayer teaches humility. You are seeking His refuge, His love, His grace, compassion and help, in order to reach Him. You are calling out, trying to reach out. Prayer is surrendering the ego. - Vol.5, p30
