Speaking of which, does anyone here have a kiln at home they use for crafts? I'd like to have a squarish bowl made for 'symbolic' homas/mental worship, using just rice offerings. I figure the bowl to be 6 or 9 inches square, 3/4" or 1" thickness, 3-4 inches high (haven't finalized a design). It'd be glazed in goldenrod yellow with a red triangle and red dot on the bottom of the inside (food-safe glaze of course). It's something I could use to practice the mantras and offerings before using an actual fire.
