Guest guest
Sanjeev, Restlessness serves two purposes. First, it points a finger at the source of our restlessness. Sometimes our mind clouds our perception so we can't see the source, but the restlessness is constantly prodding us to see the source of the restlessness. The second purpose of restlessness is to encourage us to make changes in our life. Most folks feel restless all the time. Some feel bored. Some feel like they are doing the wrong things and want to do something else. This is a pretty normal thing for humans to experience. Many folks turn to distractions to get away from the restlessness. Some choose drugs, alcohol, money, power, politics, and many other countless things to distract themselves from their restlessness. The fact that you have felt the true nature of your restlessness and have decided to meet it head on and seek a real and positive solution for it makes you pretty darn special. Very few seek that path, a so called spiritual path to a true solution for restlessness. I feel that all of us in the have chosen that path. It is a path to pure inner peace. Chandi Patha is a text written many years ago by a man called Markandeya who found inner peace. He wrote metaphorically, alegorically, and deeply symbolicly about the experiences he had which lead him to that peace. Chandi is the Goddess that loved him and set him free of his restlessness. Instead of leaving to nirvana, Markandeya accepted a task from the Goddess and wrote the Chandi Patha, part of the Markandeay Puranas. The Chandi Patha is a wizard's spell, a method by which a person can invoke Consciousness in his or her life. It is not only a method but a description of the process of enlightenment. It is very deep and very rich in the symbols of Hinduism and the symbols of life. The Chandi is a story about the generals of the mighty ego and the mighty ego himself, the part of us who believe that we are the doers, we are the ones who take care of us and we are the ones who enable our survival. The cast is quite diverse, for example there are two brothers, I often think of them as mirror siamese twins because they are so closely related and opposite. Self Deprecation and Self Aggrandizement. One makes us feel better about being egotistical by putting ourselves down, saying that we couldn't do better because we're not good. The other makes us feel better about being egitistical by putting down others and by saying, no matter how crappy we are, other people are much worse. Chandi Patha is a path toward complete acceptance of reality, a release of all fear and a release of fear / ego dominated thought. It is a path that releases us from the need to identify with our thoughts and feelings, a path that liberates us from the need to puff ourselves up to defend ourselves from perceived outside threats. Chandi tears apart our thoughts and shows us each thought for its true nature, then allows us to decide if we want them as they are or if we want to let them go or even change them into their positive opposite quality. Chandi teaches us to surrender to reality, accept our fate, and love everything as it really is. Chandi makes it so we can see the truth about our restlessness. That in reality we are God and Goddess encarnated on earth and that we need not accept the concept of mind and mental awareness as a boundary of identity. Chandi shows us that we are not peaceful because we want to know who we are and She gives us a process by which we can use that restlessness to attain the truth about our nature and our identity. Once we know ourselves wholely then the restlessness subsides and we live in peace, inner and outer. I hope this helps you understand Chandi a bit more. She's my Mom and I try to serve her well. Please feel free to ask questions. Everyone here has their own experience with Chandi Maa and everyone's experience can offer insite to Her qualities. > My mind is very much restless from couple of months and it is causing > me lot of agony. i HAVE TRIED ASTROLOGERS but in vain.aLL SAY THAT BAD > SPELL IS OVER BUT I AM STILL RESTLESS.
