A Question about Kali and the Chandi for Swami

Question for Swamiji:

 

Dear Swamiji ~ someone, with a great interest in the Chandi has asked

me about the presence of Kali in the Chandi (she didn't "see" it) and

Kali's relationship to Durga. I thought I had remembered something

about all the Goddesses emerging out of Durga, prior to the battle,

but when I scanned the book, I couldn't find it. I found something in

the atha navarna vidhih, but I'm not sure just quoting this passage is

what my friend is looking for.

 

Since we are celebrating Navaratri, I have mentioned the Chandi to a

number of people, and there is a great interest, both in the

celebration, of which I know only a little, and of the Chandi. Of

course, I have referred them to the book, and maybe some will order

it, but they will not have it in time to use for Navaratri. But

perhaps, like I, they will be happy if they order it when Navaratri

rolls around again.

 

If you can refer me to any specific part of the Chandi where Kali is

mentioned or even, from your own storehouse, say a word or two about

Kali's role in the Chandi and her relationship to Durga, I would be
