Guest guest
Wonderful story. I have come to the conclusion there is no such thing as growth, per se. What we perceive to be growth is really just a surrendering of old habits and outdated methods of thinking. I see our mental boundaries as part of the mechanism of mind designed to help us survive this harsh reality. They are created so the mind and body can survive, but at the expense of true Self knowledge, for if we feel separated from everything, then we are not conscious. That's the ironic duality of reality. To survive (especially during Kali Yuga) we have to isolate ourselves from harmful objects and relationships, this process of devolution isolates us from God by its very nature and (here's the irony) it enables us to become smart enough to comprehend the concept of Goddess. Thus paving the way for our enlightenment. The mind is a two edged sword. It makes us smart enough to survive through self isolation and smart enough to ask "Why am I here?" In reality We are all powerful. In Reality we are universally equal. In Reality we are the creators and designers of this experience we call Life. In Reality all our thoughts become our experience and each thought creates a new facet of this or some other reality. Every idea is fully explored. What we feel are the most interesting experiences becoming part of our makeup. > > > Dear All, > > Thank you Kanda, Berijoy,Kalia, Pahari Maa, Henny for letting us know how > your Kali sadhana is going on ! Guest guest
Dear friends and family, Day 3 was completed successfully. Kalia’s story. On the altar shared with the group a few weeks ago is a murti of Beloved Goddess Kali. For a while now, and mostly during morning puja or singing to Mother, I always get the feeling to rub the cheek of the murti. So I use the ring and middle finger of my right hand and gently circle Her left cheek. It feels so intimate, as though there is Mother and child, during those moments at least, nothing else matters. On a Navaratri at the Mandir, ShreeMaa was giving blessings, Maa arose from her chair and stopped to bless the first devotee the others including Kalia, immediately gut up and stood in line anxiously awaiting the blessing. My turn came, Maa gave Her blessings, I offered pranams at Maa’s Beloved Lotus feet stood up with hands in the prayer posture and said “thank you Maa” Maa looked at this child with those beautiful compassionate, smiling eyes, freed one of Her hands and gently rubbed my cheek. I smiled in gratitude, bowed and walked to join the others to the side of the room. It was a short while after still feeling blissful and reflecting on the night’s events that it dawned on me, Maa rubbed my face the same way I rub the face of the murti. I had never told Maa of this? Jai Kali Maa ki jai. Kalia FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.

You are trying to become expansive. You tell the Lord, `O Lord, I have no power. I thought I had, but now I understand that I am helpless. I am in the dark. I cannot see. I am nothing... Guide me, lead me, help me. That was my ego which made me think I was something great. Now I realize that I am helpless. Without Your grace I cannot be anything...' What is this? This is exposing yourself as a totally helpless creature without Him and His Grace. This is humbling yourself. This is the genuine way to exhaust the vasanas. There should be the awareness of helplessness; one should feel one's helplessness. Helplessness will make one humble. Humility in turn will help one get God's grace as well as human love." --Ammachi, "Awaken Children," Vol.5, p30
