Guest guest
>>""This is one of the Maa's that i hand painted. [she was originally "brass". It was really intense, yet fun to paint Her, gradually watch Her "Come to Life!"] i am like a little kid who sees a little puppy and brings it home. i see a "Statue" of Maa that looks, a little sad or neglected and [if i am able], i bring Her home to be a part of the Divine Family to be loved and cared for. Polishing, bathing, painting Her, etc. i wish i had a "Before" pic of this particular Maa. On second thought, i guess i don't. i would rather share Her looking Vibrant, Happy and Beautiful. The strange looking weedy item behind Her on the left is called a "Resurrection Plant". i consider it very representative of Maa Kali. The neat thing about it is that when you soak it in water, it uncurls and mostly turns green! i have had it for years, and it ALWAYS works!! " Thank you Muktimaa for sharing. "<< Yes! Thank you very much. I LOVE your "Blue Kali"...She has that wonderful quality of the Tibetan "Sky Dancers". Thanks for sharing her. sadhvi
