Dear Brian ~ as always your very thoughtful post was also thought

provoking. Somehow, in particular, reading what you wrote above,

brought into crystal clarity for me, both the difficulty of growth

and the ease of growth ... another double-edged sword. At the same

time, it was like being hit by a bold of lightening. "...just a

surrendering of old habits..." Somehow putting it this way makes it

completely comprehensible, and all the spiritual effort we make ~ our

sankalpas, our pujas, etc. ~ in a sense are a way of helping us do

just this, like a snake shedding its skin. Thank you ~ Linda
