Somehow, in particular, reading what you wrote above, brought into crystal clarity for me, both the difficulty of growth and the ease of growth ... another double-edged sword. At the same time, it was like being hit by a bold of lightening. "...just a surrendering of old habits..." Somehow putting it this way makes it completely comprehensible, and all the spiritual effort we make ~ our sankalpas, our pujas, etc. ~ in a sense are a way of helping us do just this, like a snake shedding its skin.
