My part did not work...so no list and no readings from Shree Maa....I am happy to be back and catching up on all of the posts. I have been doing the Dakshina Kali mantra every day...and hope it will be "included" in our group effort. It's very inspiring to read the posts on Ramakrishna, the poetry and, of course, the MahaVidya "saga". I really love them! Sunday I went to MahaLakshmi Temple (around an hour from my home). There was a once-a-year Archana with kum kum for Devi..and a recitation of her 1008 names..many of which are very fierce. I sat right in FRONT...( I tried to sit in the back row..but was pushed and directed to the seat right in front of the huge and wonderful Lakshmi). To me, she is so much like Kali, very black and magnificent. I will be doing Kali puja tonight...thinking blessings for all of you. And especially every night I have been thinking of Shree Maa and Swamiji and their generosity towards us.
