Guest guest
This morning when I went inside the Mandir, I saw Swamiji looking for something inside a cupboard. He was standing next to a step ladder . When he found what he wanted , he walked, ladder in hand towards the nearest door. Thinking that he was going to place it in the outside shed, and wanting to be of service, I immediately grabbed the ladder from his hand . Swamiji didnt let go of the ladder but instead positioned himself near a bulb socket, and climbed the ladder. I apologized, feeling like a bumbling idiot . Swamiji said, "why are you apologizing? " When I said that I felt that I had been at cross purposes with him, he said "How will you know how to help me, unless I tell you what I am doing ? " I was pondering over his statement, when he got down, and once again carried the ladder to another location. He gave his characteristic wry smile and said "Ladder day Saint" So how many Swamis does it take to put a light bulb in a socket ?Just one ladder day saint !
