Dear amritadaasi ~ I really like this idea of doing something concrete as a way of thanking Shree Maa and Swamiji. I had already written to Nanda about perhaps doing a Thansgiving "card" for them. I think what I feel most drawn to is between now and Thanksgiving chanting the Guru Gita at least one time. You may not be aware of my illness, but I am very limited in what I can accomplish, and I have often gotten very discouraged with group sankalpas because I am not able to keep up. Perhaps it could be the Guru Gita, and people could "sign up" to say how many times they want to chant it: once throughout the time between now and Thanksgiving (me), every day (most of the rest of the digest), or more often. I can't think of anyway to better bow down to our Gurus than to chant the Guru Gita, and thank you for bringing this suggestion to the group. Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji
