Dear Nanda ~ I can't tell you how this story struck me ... on so many levels (ladders?). First it was funny, and gave me a laugh, which I can always use. Seconds, it was such a sweet story and blessings to you for being willing to tell your part of it. Thirdly, because Swami's first answer is exactly what my therapist has been trying to get across to me for years, about my relationship with my parents. How can you know what they want or expect, Linda, if they don't tell you. I felt like that comment of Swamiji's was speaking right to my heart. And then to make it into a joke about himself, says a universe about his humility. This story will stay with me forever. Thank you so much, Nanda ~ Linda
