Guest guest
In Re: the Saturday Prayer Club Sankalpa. When listing recipients of prayers, I wish the deceased people were indicated by listing them as : "the soul of John Jones, recently deceased." I know that offerings to ancestors and deceased people are supposed to end with "Swadha," while living beings and Devas are made offerings with "Swaha." I think deceased people require blessings and guidance towards the Light, rather than physical healing. Also, many people request "healings" for recipients who obviously don't know they are being worked on. I'd like to add "if they accept this" to modify the sankalpa. -- Len Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005

I do it because I know people desire physical healing… and because they are having health issues. But in the event that someone has no desire to be healed, I don’t think God would heal that person, simply because we requested it for them. 12.0pt;font-family:"Maiandra GD""> 12.0pt;font-family:"Maiandra GD"">At any rate, I don’t think any kind of prayer for a person, as we all submit, can do any harm.
