Guest guest
Can I do prana pratishta myself, no brahmin being around to perform it. And how would I proceed for murtis of Shiva, Ganesha, Krishna and Lakshmi? What are the mantras and so on? I know it's the heart's attitude that counts in one's relation to the gods but somehow I feel this need for prana pratishta, probably cause it is the traditional way to install murtis on an altar Swamiji's response:Use the mantras from the prana pratishtha in the Cosmic Puja, and then add the bija mantras for each deity. Guest guest
Nandaji, I know I ask a lot of questions, but I don't remember asking this one. But it's nice to get the answer anyway:) with love, Henny , Nanda <chandimaakijai> wrote: > > Question from Henny: > Can I do prana pratishta myself, no brahmin being around to perform it. Guest guest
Dear Nanda Let me answer with an analogy to Gertrude Stein: "A question is a question is a question...". Doesn't really matter whom it is coming from IMO. And be sure there will be more forthcoming from me, oh oh! Again thanks to you and Swamiji and everybody for precious and much appreciated help!
