The entire text of the Rudri is beautiful but I especially like the

feeling which comes from repeating "and .... is within me".

Dear kaliananda ~ I don't have the book yet. I ordered it last week,

and I'm so very much looking forward to receiving it. The words you

quoted above struck a deep chord within me, so I can hardly wait to

see what they follow. They sound like a repetitive aspect of the

text, which is very common in many cultures, partly because it helps

people remember and partly because it reinforces the basic ideas that

are being imbibed. Many years ago, I wrote a chant, "Holy Home Place,"

loosely based on the Navajo Blessingway. It has a similar feel in

asserting that "we" have arrived in a place that is sacred and whole.

When I used to do the "Earth Blessing Ceremony," which was a very

participatory ritual performance that I did at galleries, churches,

sometimes weddings, even in schools, it was always so wonderful

seeing and feeling that, as people participated in the chanting, we

were all transported to the kind of space we were affirming. I'd like

to share the chant with the group. Here it is.

Thank you and blessings ~ Linda

Holy Home Place

At a Holy Home Place,

we have arrived.

At a Holy Home Place,

we have arrived.

At a Holy Home Place,

we have arrived.

We are here;

we are Whole.

At a Beautiful Place,

we have arrived.

At a Beautiful Place,

we have arrived.

At a Beautiful Place,

we have arrived.

We are here;

we are Whole.

At a Healing Place,

we have arrived.

At a Healing Place,

we have arrived.

At a Healing Place,

we have arrived.

We are here;

we are Whole.

At a Sacred Place,

we have arrived.

At a Sacred Place,

we have arrived.

At a Sacred Place,

we have arrived.

We are here;

we are Whole.

At a Holy Home Place,

we have arrived.

At a Holy Home Place,

we have arrived.

At a Holy Home Place,

we have arrived.

We are here;

we are Whole.

We are here;

we are Whole.
