The calendar is the calendar, just days and such. The other documents, for some reason, my computer was not able to access. Here is a site with a wonderful rendition of the Vedic Calendar for each month. It also shows the dark and light moon days and days when special celebrations are held. Here is the site: http://www.globalgoodnews.com/vedic-calendar.html Also, if you click on the individual months, it will show pictures of Dieties on day when there is a special celebration. For example, today, the 15th, is the Vaikuta Chaturdasi Chaturdasi (the picture looks like a four armed Krishna, a bit difficult to tell)...anyone know if Vaikuta applies to Krishna? On the 19th is a Ganesh Chaturthi (Nanda, Swami? ... meaning of Chaturthi?). Here is what the introductory page said about the Vedic Calendar: "Every day is a celebration in the Vedic Calendar year. Every day is different from every other day—the rising sun, the setting sun, the moon's phases, the influence of the planets, and the influence of the near and distant stars." I really love this idea ~ every day a celebration. Blessings ~ Linda
