How does one find once own GURU Dear Suresh ~ several years ago I had the great fortune to see Swami and Shree Maa, at a home, and then later at a retreat. This was all within about a month's time. Swamiji made many deep impressions on me; he said things I will never forget. One was on the very subject you ask about. Swamiji said that, rather than looking all around for the "right" guru, we should strive to become the best disciples possible, and then, at some time, the right guru would come into our lives. I think that all the activities we do in this group ~ our weekly prayer seva, our group sadhana projects where we learn and apply (like the Rudri class we are doing right now) are all part of learning to become that best disciple. And then leave the rest to God/dess. Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda
