Mother Mary and Mother Kali

Revered Holy Family,

 

John sang, "Mother Mary said to me, 'let it be'".

 

And Mother Kali said: Come to me as you are, my child,

not as you 'ought to be'. My nakedness tells you that

I cannot be present where there is artifice of any kind,

even religious artifice.

 

And then She turned, and devoured-most graphically-the

head of a human corpse, saying, "My child, here nothing

is wasted".
