Guest guest
Beloved Mukimaa, thank you for taking the trouble to post the lyrics and also for reminding me why the words 'like no Mother at all' were so familiar. I had read Sarvananda's story before, and these words must have stuck in my mind although the rest had faded into oblivion. But rereading the lyrics as a whole so many months later, they are even more beautiful to me: > > SO COME WITH YOUR BHAKTI, RECEIVE MOTHER'S SHAKTI, > > SHE'LL OPEN YOUR HEART RIGHT FROM THE START, > > THEN YOU'LL KNOW WHY WE'RE SINGING, OUR DEVOTION BRINGING > > YOU'LL JOIN IN THE SINGING, YOUR HEART WILL BE WINGING > > 'CAUSE WE'VE GOT A MOTHER LIKE NO OTHER, > > LIKE NO OTHER MOTHER AT ALL! Lieve Hennyji and all of our Divine Family, Jai Maa! It was pure joy to post,& wonderful to read about their origin once more for me, too! i hadn't read Shree Maa's bio in a few years, and now it has drawn me to read it again. It is even sweeter and more exciting this time around, if that is possible!!! i sincerely hope that all of our Devi Mandir Forum members have read this incredibly inspiring book: "Shree Maa The Life of a Saint". You can find it in the book section of the website, www.shreemaa.org And since i am unashamedly plugging books, :<) i also wish to remind those who haven't read "Sahib Sadhu, The White Sadhu", yet. It is the book about our dear Swamiji's spiritual quest and sadhana during the years He lived in India. It is equally inspiring and very exciting! It is a must read for all who wish to know Swamiji more intimately. It is rich in detail and laced with humor. i couldn't put it down when i started to read it. You will laugh and cry...and come away with a whole new deepened respect for our beloved Swamiji! Happiest of Holy Days to one and all! Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! Jai Thakur Ramakrishna Deva! muktimaa I > had read Sarvananda's story before, and these words must have stuck in > my mind although the rest had faded into oblivion.
