A beautiful prayer

"Oh, God, please give me a place at Your Lotus Feet. Keep me with

You always. Please give me true devotion to Your Lotus Feet. This

world of activity is very difficult. All the injunctions in the

scriptures that call, me to perform actions in the world, they are

all very difficult to perform. In this Age of Darkness,it is very

difficult to maintain freedom from desires and attachments. All

this activity, all this worldiness does not bring me to you.

Oh, God, please give me a place at Your Lotus Feet. Keep me with You

always. "

Dear family and friends,

 

The above prayer was taken from page 61 of the Nectar of Eternal

Bliss by Beloved Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

 

This prayer was offered yesterday Guru day for us all. It is so

beautiful being in your company.

 

My pray for this Christmas season is for Eternal blessings to Divine

Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati whose pure love and

devotion has brought us to this place and for us to become the

devotees that Sri Ramakrishna was thinking of when He offered the

above prayer.

 

To each and everyone of you, you are flowers on the garland in my

heart and I love you all.
