Guest guest
The sankalpa is set and that is fine but in the recipient list, I give the full name followed by "mangalartham cha" and then skim to the next name. In previous times when reasons were included, I found it distracting and the chanting was becoming more like a chore. Jai Maa! Jai Shiva! Although I can't control the size of the sankalpa (and I wouldn't want to), I can share a personal tip. > > When I read the recipient list, I only read the first names of people. You will notice that people names are in bold so they are easy to spot. I read the first name followed by "mangalartham cha" and then skim to the next first name. I don't read last names, reasons, or prayers that people add. This keeps the time workable. And it allows me to squeeze in more mantras! > > > > Jai Maa! Jai Shiva!
