Guest guest
Dear Family, My wish for additional sadhana would be to spend it in service to Maa and Swamiji, and in unbroken thought of them. That brings me supreme joy, peace, silence, meditation, and a feeling of oneness with them. With Love at their lotus feet, Kumari > "If we could find one extra hour every day, what would you add to your present sadhana and why?" Guest guest
Namaste Beloved Divine Family, Many prostrations at the Holy Feet of our beautiful Mother and much adored Swamiji! Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! In response to Swamiji's question - i really long to say the Chandi Path everyday and also study and learn from Swamiji's classes. It is a divine boon to even know about these sacred scriptures - and we have the amazing gift of being able to recite and learn more and love Divine Mother more and more...all due to Maa and Swamiji's infinite Grace and love! There is something very beautiful and magical in consistent practice and recitation of these sacred mantras and i feel it would be so sad to fritter away this precious opportunity to learn to love God - and to give God every breadth of this life, joyously! My prayers to God to make our sadhana strong and this year to be a year of blessedness, peace and love for all our Devi Mandir family and all creation. Jai Maa! yours lovingly, ramya > Nanda <chandimaakijai> wrote: Dear All, > HAPPY NEW YEAR ! > > Here is a question from Swamiji - a wonderful one to keep us focussed on Sadhana this brand new year. > > Swamiji's question : > "If we could find one extra hour every day, what would you add to your present sadhana and why?" > > So folks, lets keep thinking and share our views. > > JAI SWAMIJI > Nanda > > > Photos > Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Guest guest
Dear friends, You all know that I am a mere bud on the vine of devotion. Being a writer, of course, I could come up with some wonderful definitions, but I doubt that any of them would be any better than what all of you have already written. So I will stick with what is the truth is for me. A devotee is one who feels a magnetic pull to the object of devotion (guru). A devotee is one who feels an eagerness to chant, recite, do sadhana. A devotee is one who wants to do guru seva. A devotee is one whose heart, mind and spirit are expanded exponentially through connection to the object of devotion (guru) Jai Maa , Jai Swamiji ~ Linda
