Dear Devanath Saraswati,

This is so great! Thank you for every bit of information you are

sharing with us! May we ALL have great success in our 9 Planet Upaya!

Mother Earth needs every bit of help we can offer! I am just adding

that beautiful (and famous) photo of the Earth taken from the Moon

to my puja...above the Devi puja! This is such a wonderful thing to

contemplate for 2006 and to know that people all over the world will

be doing this practice...large, small, however...it's just very

inspiring! I remember listening to a talk by one of the Brahmin

priests at the first long Yagna I went to...he talked about

the "loop of Vedic sacrifice" that takes place during a fire

ceremony and then how the ingredients (the ghee, the sesame seeds,

etc.) had a LITERAL purifying effect on the atmosphere! That the

smoke traveled up into the atmosphere an returned to the EArth in

the form of dew, mist and rain to nurture the soil. If Swamiji (or

you,Devanath) would care to speak on the literal healing power of

these homas we are doing, it would be greatly appreciated!

At a time when many in India are turning towards the West and

Western ways, it is simply wonderful that we, in the West, will now

be learning this ancient and powerful way of giving back to and

healing our beautiful planet!!!!
