Guest guest
Dear Devnathji and all, a question has arisen: I've made a schedule which would allow me to complete the Mother Earth sankalpa in 30 weeks. I thought I would start coming Sunday. But then that is the first day of the dark fortnight of the month. I know that in other traditions, it is considered inauspicious to start something new when the moon is waning. Would it be better to wait until after the New Moon and start on the first day of the bright fortnight of next month? Or is all this of no relevance here? Your input and advice would be greatly appreciated, with love, Henny
Guest guest
On the one hand, every day of life is auspicious, so begin today . On the other hand, you could start then on the first tithi after the new moon. , "henny_v_i" <HvI@S...> wrote: > > Dear Devnathji and all, > > a question has arisen: I've made a schedule which would allow me to > complete the Mother Earth sankalpa in 30 weeks. Guest guest
thank you very much for your advice. I think I'll start practicing right now, so that I'll know what I am doing on the first tithi when I really really start:), with love, Henny , "Devanath Saraswati" <devnath9@y.. ..> wrote: > > On the one hand, every day of life is auspicious, so begin today . > > On the other hand, you could start then on the first tithi after the new moon. > , "henny_v_i" <HvI@S...> wrote: > > > > Dear Devnathji and all, > > > > a question has arisen: I've made a schedule which would allow me to > > complete the Mother Earth sankalpa in 30 weeks.
